A lot has been into the discovery of fire and the wheel. These are considered the cornerstones on which ancient civilization was built. But what of the humble table? I ask you this, what would the world look like if we had never discovered the table? History was written upon the table and how might it have looked without our mighty wooden plateau.
Because I have no idea. Would we even have chairs? Aren’t those just small tables that you sit on? Definitely no desks or counters. That’s cheating. I suppose our floor cleaning culture would be on point. And we’d have a lot of gadgets to hold things whilst standing. I don’t know, this is hard.
