Legendary basketball star and cohost of “Inside The NBA,” Shaquille O’Neal spoke to ESPN reporter Steve Gunderson on his ex-wife, current girlfriend and general romantic history. Amongst his many relationship musing, Shaquille(known by his friends as Shaq) talked about why he sometimes prefers to be on the inside when spooning with his current girlfriend.
I feel like, as men, we put a lot on ourselves. We have to the big, strong masculine man. But we don’t always need to take the whole world on our shoulders. Sometimes it’s good to be “the little spoon.” And just feel warm and taken care of, snuggled in the embrace of a loved one.
