Steve Gunderson, formerly of Game Informer, over at the Playstation Blog revealed this morning that the team over at Kojima Production was putting the final touches on an update to Death Stranding to be released simultaneously with the release of the game. Along with some minor alterations to menus and certain in-game emails, the most obvious change to the game is the replacement of the Monster Energy Drink in-game items with Redbull Energy Drinks.
We will keep you updated as Hideo Kojima will likely address the reason for the Rockstar change in a livestream scheduled for 3PM Japan Standard Time today. We would hope certain outlets who rushed to review the game will update their reviews accordingly.
