When Steven Gunderson, a resident of a small Chicago suburb in Indiana, posted his tweet calling President Donald Trump the “Nickelback of Presidents” he never could have imagined the effect he would have on world politics. Our political experts generally agree that this was intended as an insult. And our comedy experts also agree that, as an insult, it is of somewhat subpar quality as, whilst Nickelback is not good, it’s poor reputation is a bit of a tired reddit meme. However, when President Donald Trump saw it, he took it as an indication that he should get super into Nickelback.
