We here have noticed a lot of confusion amongst our relatives on social media around this Thursday, the twenty-whatever-st of November. We would like it to be clear to everyone involved that this Thursday is not Thanksgiving. Yes, it’s like the 3rd Thursday of November and it feels like it’s pretty late in the month. But it is not Thanksgiving.
We know how amazing the prices for flights and hotels are as compared to last year. And how you’re really looking forward to the big Colts-Texans Thanksgiving day game. Yes, the neighbors have already put up their Christmas lights. And we know you have a ticket to see Knives Out on Friday and that film is commonly advertised as coming out on Thanksgiving.
But that is a Knives Out early access screening. It doesn’t open wide until the 28th, which is actually Thanksgiving. This Thursday, two days from now, it is still not fucking Thanksgiving.
