Trump Disheartened His Kidnapped Refugee Children Are Aging Out Of Halloween

by Daniel

President Donald Trump visited the West Texas tent city where the majority of the underage refugees currently in ICE custody are kept. While he has taken several meetings in nearby Sierra Bianca, his primary purpose in West Texas was to oversee the final setup of the camp’s haunted house, what has become an annual tradition in the camp. However, reporters covering the president’s visit have indicated that the president is feeling disheartened after discovering that many of the refugee children indefinitely detained early in his term now consider themselves too old to trick-or-treat around the camp. During a period of time in which the majority of the press was taking note of the Halloween setup inside, one reporter even observed the president staring off into the distance outside, possibly thinking about the passage of time, while two guards were rotating an oversized iron maiden, trying to fit it through the back entrance of Building 2A.

Building 2A, as seen above in it’s undecorated state, was specially constructed and designated for light storage and haunted house usage.

This comes after being informed by ICE guard Steven Gunderson that many of the detained children were not feeling up to it this year. While he was unable to conduct the through survey that the president requested due to their translator being out-sick, Steven Gunderson was able to report a rather telling statement from one of the camp’s few English speaking children. This unnamed underage refugee was observed saying “That stuff is for babies, like Edgar” referring to trick-or-tricking and an unsupervised infant named Edgar, respectively.

On his part, President Donald Trump took to his parenting blog and posted an entry that many theorize to be inspired by this incident.

Everyone says they grow up too fast. But you never listen. You always think they’ve got one more year in them. I just wish I had known last year so I could really take in the moment. Their last Halloween. I’m making a promise here that I will not make the same mistake with any more children that we kidnap.
