Forza Horizon 4 was only released mere weeks ago but some highly reputable sources are already indicating that a small team within Turn 10 is already in the planning stages of Forza Horizon 4. The fifth entry of the franchise is supposedly set in Southern California and will be released in the 2020 holiday season.
Details are sparse and obviously subject to change but the team to looking to expand the season system, which proved to be a very popular addition to Forza Horizon 3. They are developing a system that allows the season to gradually change over the course of a week, rather than the current hard cut system. Our source outlined the general shift below
Wednesday- Middle of Fall. Palm tree leaves have changed color. Plants are thriving. NPCs wearing sweatshirts. Very picturesque. Haunted Hayride race event active.
Thursday- In game days start to get shorter. Leaves start falling. Birds start flying South. Farmers are harvesting crops.
Friday- Ground is littered with fallen leaves. Rains frequently. NPCS celebrating Thanksgiving.
Saturday- Transition day. Very wet, lots of puddles. All the plants are dead. Days are very short.
Sunday- First day of Winter. Snow appears in the mountain areas. NPCs start wearing winter gear.
Monday- Snow gets heavy in the mountain areas. Reaches mid elevation areas like Griffith Park. Hollywood sign glazed with snow.
Tuesday- Snow is lightly sprinkling lower elevations. Sunset Blvd icy drift zone challenge becomes active. Snow plows come out. Mid elevation areas get heavy snow.
Wednesday- Middle of Winter. Snow is mid-to-heavy across entire map. NPCs huddled inside for warmth. Smoke pours from chimneys. Hollywood sign is half buried in snow.
